Recent Biomass Energy Projects (2024 - 2025)
Over the years FERGY has delivered a growing portfolio of high-efficiency biomass energy solutions for district heating networks and industrial applications across Europe.
The projects highlighted in this infographic represent our most recent references, commissioned in 2024 - 2025, as well as one large-scale project currently under implementation.
These installations demonstrate FERGY’s expertise in hot water, overheated water, and steam biomass systems, utilizing wood chips and forest residue fuels to provide reliable, low-emission thermal energy.
Commissioned Projects
In 2024, FERGY successfully commissioned several district heating and industrial biomass plants in Poland, Spain, and Lithuania, with individual capacities ranging from 7.5 MW to 26.6 MW. These projects include:
Overheated water systems for industrial wood processing,
High-temperature hot water boiler plants for municipal district heating,
Advanced combustion and heat generation technologies tailored to local fuel characteristics.
In 2025, additional projects were brought online in Latvia and Poland, including a steam boiler installation for the food industry and a district heating project in Ełk, further expanding FERGY’s operational footprint in the Baltic and Central European markets.
Project Under Implementation
Alongside commissioned references, the infographic also highlights a 44.7 MW district heating biomass project in the Warsaw region, Poland. This installation is currently in the implementation stage and represents one of the largest biomass heating projects in FERGY’s recent portfolio.
